Civil Weddings and Wedding Receptions at The Royal Seven Stars Hotel

The Royal Seven Stars Hotel holds a licence permitting Civil Ceremonies to be held in two elegant rooms and provides the perfect location for Wedding Receptions.

At the Royal Seven Stars Hotel we are always very excited at the prospect of planning and hosting Wedding Celebrations of all kinds. Every single Wedding is distinctly different and absolutely unique. We feel passionately that this very special day must be planned to your very own individual wishes. You will not find us using the expression 'Wedding Package' here at the Royal Seven Stars Hotel. This is such an exciting time for you that it is really important that planning your wedding is as enjoyable as the day itself. We have the experience and expertise within our team to keep things simple and you can leave us to do as much or as little of the detailed planning for your big day as you wish.

The Ballroom
Situated on the first floor of the Hotel and recently refurbished, the Ballroom and new Al Fresco decked terrace is ideal for the larger Wedding Reception. Equipped with a dance floor, stage area and spacious licensed bar the Ballroom can cater for buffets or sit-down menus and can accommodate up to 120 people.

The Assembly Room
Situated on the first floor of the Hotel and recently refurbished, the Assembly Room overlooks the picturesque, historic centre of Totnes and dates back 300 years. For Civil Wedding ceremonies this room is licensed for up to 60 people.

Included in the room hire price of £150 are seating arrangements as instructed by you and fresh flowers on the Registrar's table. The Registrar's arrangements and charges remain your responsibility.

TQ9 Restaurant

Situated on the ground floor of the Hotel, our new Restaurant is available for the smaller Wedding Reception from Monday to Saturday. We can cater for up to 50 guests in relaxed, stylish surroundings.
