The Royal Seven Stars Hotel welcomes people with disabilities, and this statement has been developed to address the more common issues that disabled people face. We constantly strive to improve accessibility to all our guests and welcome your comments and thoughts.
We endeavour to treat all our guests with any disability or impairment equally according to their
needs, within the restraints of this historical building. There is no lift. We request that at the time of
your enquiry or booking you inform us of any special needs or disabilities. All bedrooms start on the first floor.
The hotel is a listed building and dates back to the 1660’s, it is situated in the centre of Totnes and is on the flat. You may alight and unload in front of the hotel, where there is limited and zoned parking or we do have private parking for hotel residents to the rear of the hotel.
Guest entry to the hotel is through the front or rear entrance and is wide enough for wheelchair
access. There are inner doors to the bars, both of which need to be opened for a wheelchair. The
hallway to reception is stone paved and has the occasional carpet.
Seating is provided within the reception area. A disabled toilet is situated in the passage way to the
rear car park.
Access to both ground floor bars (which also sell food) and TQ9 Brasserie is possible with a
Wheelchair. The furniture is not fixed and can be moved if required.
All bedrooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors.
All bedrooms, stairways and passageways are carpeted.
The entire hotel is non-smoking.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Smoke detectors, alarms and emergency lighting are on all floors.
